The Batman 2 | Director talks about what the next villain will be

Also, Matt Reeves already confirmed that he was talking to Warner Bros. to make a sequel, plus the ending also brings us a cliffhanger with Joker (Barry Keoghan) becoming friends with Riddler (Paul Dano).

However, the director himself has stated that in the sequel we will not see Joker being the main villain, but he already has a perfect replacement for the villain.

What is the villain of The Batman 2?

The chosen character is Silence. Created in the 2000s, Silence é Thomas "Tommy" Elliot, an old childhood friend of Bruce Wayne and that he is envious of the character, because when Elliot was younger, his father, Roger Elliothis mother, who was beating him because of his alcoholism, and his mother Marla did nothing to help the boy.

Because of all the traumas, Thomas decides to kill his parents and get the inheritance, however, his plan fails when his mother survives and is saved by Thomas Wayneso that Tommy feel resentful of Wayne.

After the death of his parents Bruce, Tommy was jealous, because the orphan received the entire inheritance from his parents, something that Thomas never made it.
