The Batman | DC confirms Penguin mini-series
Matt Reeves had already confirmed that we were going to have a Penguin mini-series, however, today we had the official announcement. Check it out!
The director of The Batman, Matt Reeveshas already confirmed several things, such as the sequel to the feature film, as well as the actor who plays Joker in the final scene of the movie next to Paul Dano, o Charade.
Meanwhile, Matt also revealed that we will have a mini-series of the Penguin (Colin Farrell)and today (09), the DC confirmed in his Twitter that we will have this Spin-Off from The Batman. Check out the tweet below:
Using the provisional name The Penguinthe series should show how Oswald Cobblepot must become one of the biggest gangsters in Gotham. Not only that, but Matt Reeves gave a statement about the confirmation of the miniseries.
"Colin exploded on screen as the Penguin, and to have the chance to thoroughly explore the life of this character on HBO Max is exciting (...) Dylan and I are excited to work with Lauren to tell the story of Oz as he violently takes over Gotham", said the director.
And for Farrellthe world that Reeves created on the Batmanyou need a different view of Gotham to understand it, moreover, Collin celebrates by saying that "It will be good to have him back on the streets of Gotham to (cause) a little madness and chaos".
However, The Penguin does not yet have a release date confirmed by Warner or HBOwe only know that the miniseries will be released in HBO Max.
